MYTUTOR offers tutoring in German, French, English, Mathematics, Physics, Geography, Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, Statistics and Economics. From primary school to the end of high school we support you with our tutoring offer.
Private tutoring can take place as often as you want. You can schedule your lessons on your desired days and at your desired times.
Group tutoring for German, French and Mathematics takes place on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. On the website you will find the exact course days and times.
Private tutoring can be arranged flexibly according to your desired times from Monday to Saturday. You are completely free in the choice of dates. Group tutoring takes place on Wednesday and Friday afternoons or on Saturdays. You can find the exact course schedules on our website.
If you attend private lessons, you can start at any time. We will organize your course as soon as possible. Our group tutoring starts in September and takes place during the whole school year (excluding school vacations). Joining existing groups is possible at any time.
Private tutoring with MYTUTOR can take place either in our offices in Bern, Basel, Zurich, Aarau or at your home (region Bern, Solothurn, Basel and Zurich). For home tutoring we charge an additional fee of CHF 20.- per lesson. Group tutoring takes place on the premises of our tutoring institutes.
If you are not satisfied with your teacher, we are always ready to find a suitable solution and to talk to the teacher. If the chemistry is not right, we can replace the teacher and organize another one for your course.
In all listed subjects you can attend private tutoring. In the subjects German, French and Mathematics we also offer group tutoring. You can find detailed information about group tutoring on our website.
Groups at MYTUTOR consist of a maximum of 5 students.
The groups in the tutoring group lessons are structured as follows: School level 4 and 5 form one group. Grades 6 and 7 form separate groups. Grades 8 and 9 form one group. In case of high demand, one group per level can be formed. We also have a separate group for Gymi, FMS and HMS exam preparation.
How much a private tutoring course costs depends on the type and duration of the course as well as the school level. You can find all prices for private and group tuition on our website under the heading Prices and Registration . With MYTUTOR you receive a volume discount: The longer and the more you book, the cheaper your course will be. We also offer further discounts for siblings and early registrations.
Private tutoring is organized within one week. Please register for it in time via our website.
At MYTUTOR you always have the possibility to attend a trial lesson without obligation, no matter if it is a private or group lesson. To make an appointment, please contact our office or visit the trial lesson page on our website.
You can pay the amount for your booked course comfortably by invoice or bank transfer within the given period.
You can pay the amount for your booked course in installments. If you wish to pay in installments, please contact us.
If a lesson (group or private) is cancelled for organizational reasons on our part, then this lesson will be made up.
Almost all of our tutors have at least a Bachelor's degree. If you would like a teacher with a specific qualification, please contact us.
Group courses at MYTUTOR are designed to review and prepare current school material at the appropriate level. In addition, students can always bring their own materials and ask questions about homework or class material.
In private lessons, the lessons can be adapted completely flexibly to your wishes. The tutor deepens the desired material with you and works on suitable exercise materials for you.
Homework help takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:15 pm to 6:45 pm. Homework help is free of charge for registered students (from 4 lessons per week). If you would like to register for homework help only Register , please contact us at any time.
Registrations for tutoring in group lessons are usually for two semesters. It is also possible to register for one semester on request. However, if you join later, you can of course register for a shorter duration Register. You then only pay for the lessons that you actually attend.
Private lessons can be taken for as long as you need. Here you can register for your desired lesson package.
If you find that you do not need to use all the lessons at once, they will not expire. You can either use the lessons at a later time or we will issue you a credit for the remaining lessons.
There is no registration fee with MYTUTOR.
With group tutoring, you benefit from a two-week trial period. Within this time you can cancel the course if you are not satisfied. You will then only pay for the hours you have paid for.
In private lessons you can enjoy a free and non-binding trial lesson. Afterwards you can choose the lesson package you want Register.
